This week's Kingdom Builders Spotlight is Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). FCA exists to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes, creating opportunities for people to grow in their faith, build authentic community, and boldly live out the Gospel. This summer, FCA continued to make a lasting impact by hosting sports camps where students had the opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of sports while building friendships, growing in confidence, and being encouraged both on and off the field. They also opened their property to the community during the World Cup, creating a welcoming space where families, friends, and neighbors could gather, connect, and enjoy the matches together. Through simple acts of hospitality, FCA continues to build relationships and share the love of Christ in practical ways. Whether through sports camps, community events, campus ministry, or discipleship, FCA is committed to reaching people where they are and pointing them to Jesus. This week's Difference Maker highlight are Sean and Emma Williams from our Worship Team! It was impossible to choose just one because they are both such an incredible blessing to Restore Church. For years, Sean and Emma have faithfully served our church with consistency, humility, and excellence. Whether they're leading worship on Sunday mornings or serving behind the scenes, they continually point people toward Jesus through both their gifts and their hearts. Their impact goes far beyond the worship platform. Sean and Emma also serve on our production team, helping with both in-house and online sound. They faithfully lead worship for rYouth, invest in students as youth leaders, and have recently served alongside EJ and Tina Tuzan through Extreme Family Outreach, caring for and feeding our local community. Sean and Emma, thank you for the countless hours you've poured into serving God and His people. Your willingness to say "yes" time and time again has made a lasting impact on our church family. More importantly, know that God sees every sacrifice you've made. As Hebrews 6:10 reminds us: "For God is not unjust. This weeks Difference Maker is Cole Bursk of the Production Team. Cole recently joined the Production Team with one simple goal: to serve wherever he was needed. Since then, he’s jumped in wholeheartedly—starting with running lights before quickly learning how to design and adjust them. Even more recently, Cole has begun training as a sound engineer, taking on one of the most technical roles on the team. Beyond his service within the walls of Restore, God has given Cole great ambition and a heart to help people. He’s a college student on a pre-med track with hopes to be a nurse, works at a local hospital, and is currently training to run a full marathon (that’s 26 miles, folks). His drive to learn, serve, and grow is evident in everything he does. One of the most meaningful moments in Cole’s journey happened recently when he was baptized during one of our Thursday evening rehearsals. It has been a joy to witness God moving in his life, and we’re grateful to have him serving alongside us. We can’t wait to see how God continues to use Cole, both on our Production Team and wherever God leads him next. Thank you Cole, you truly are a Difference Maker!

Beyond Cameroon, Stacy partners with Africa Oasis to equip women's ministries across Africa with resources and training to help prevent human trafficking, bringing hope, protection, and the love of Christ to those who are most vulnerable. She consistently makes herself available to pray, offering spiritual insight, words of encouragement, and Spirit-led prayer with a deep sensitivity to people’s needs. Adele is also a committed member of our Prophetic rGroup, which meets on Wednesday evenings. She has taught on many occasions and continues to help others grow, be sharpened, and walk confidently in their spiritual gifts. Her heart for ministry extends beyond the four walls of the church. Adele has served our community during First Fridays by sharing God’s love through prophetic ministry and words of encouragement. In addition to her passion for prayer, Adele is gifted creatively. She has helped bring ideas and support to our Creative Team during Christmas and Easter, and recently led an incredible Paint Night at The Well, beautifully combining painting with the prophetic. This week's Difference Maker highlight is Kristal Gahre! Kristal faithfully serves in so many ways at Restore Church. She is a valued member of the Card Writing Team, serves weekly in rYouth, is part of the Fiduciary Team, helps with rYouth fundraisers throughout the year, and has volunteered at Mega Kids Camp. No matter the need, Kristal is always willing to jump in and serve with a joyful heart. Each month, Kristal writes encouraging cards to people both within Restore Church and throughout our community to uplift them and bring hope. Her words remind others that they are seen and loved. She is also a constant source of encouragement to the rYouth students she invests in week after week. You can find her taking them to batting practice, shopping trips, hosting events in her home, or creating opportunities for families to connect. She understands that every young person is unique, and she intentionally loves and supports them according to their individual needs and interests. She doesn't simply serve to complete a task; she serves to make a difference in the lives of people. Kristal, thank you for your servant's heart, your willingness to go above and beyond, and the countless ways you impact both Restore Church and our community. This week's Kingdom Builders highlight is Restore's very own Mega Kid Camp! MKC is a week-long camp for elementary-aged kids filled with over-the-top fun and Jesus-centered activities. Over the years, it has grown into Restore's largest outreach into our community. For four nights in August, kids and volunteers learn the Attitude of Christ through unforgettable experiences—from Human Foosball and Flying Donut to the dreaded Fast Food Smoothie! Pastor Thomas recently ran into a past MKC attendee who was disappointed she had "aged out" of camp. When she learned she could come back as a volunteer, she immediately wanted to sign up. That's the kind of impact MKC has on kids and families. It takes nearly 80 volunteers to make Mega Kid Camp possible. From coaches and referees to prayer team members and snack servers, there's a place for everyone. For many of our current families and volunteers, MKC was their first connection to Restore Church. Every gift to Kingdom Builders truly impact the community around us, and through Mega Kid Camp, we get to experience it and see the impact as well.

This week’s Difference Makers are Dave and Lori Frebert! Dave and Lori serve as greeters on Sunday mornings, warmly welcoming everyone who walks through the doors at Restore. From the moment they started attending, they quickly became part of the Restore family through their kind hearts, warm dispositions, and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Their smiling faces and friendly conversations have made such an impact on our church community in a short amount of time. Whether you’re walking in for the first time or have been here for years, Dave and Lori have a way of making people feel seen, valued, and welcomed. While they may be fairly new to serving here at Restore, they are certainly not new to serving the body of Christ. Both Dave and Lori bring a long history of faithfully serving in many different capacities over the years, and that servant-hearted spirit shines through in all they do. This week, we are honored to highlight Mike and Cara, Global Workers serving in Germany and across Europe, as our Kingdom Builders! Mike and Cara are making a lasting impact through multiple areas of ministry. In Germany, they partner with local churches to share the gospel, develop leaders, and help establish healthy, Spirit-filled churches in communities that need the hope of Christ. Cara also serves as the Child Safety Lead for AGWM, helping protect missionary children and ensuring ministry teams operate with integrity and care. Across Europe, Mike and Cara provide Member Care for AGWM missionaries, offering counseling, support, and resources that help global workers remain healthy and effective in ministry. Recently, Mike shared a powerful story that demonstrates the multiplying impact of the gospel: "Years ago, while planting a church in Bavaria, I had the privilege of leading a 15-year-old named Raphael to Jesus. Coming from a family deeply involved in the occult, he came to our church after believing an angel had directed him there. That evening, Raphael surrendered his life to Christ. Twelve years later, Raphael and his mother are faithfully serving Jesus, both have graduated from Bible school, and today they are planting a church in their hometown. As global workers, we can start churches, but there is something especially powerful when local believers begin planting churches themselves." Raphael's story reminds us that every investment in Kingdom Builders helps transform lives, raise up leaders, and plant churches. What began with one young man encountering Jesus has now grown into a new church reaching an entire community. Thank you for your faithful support of Kingdom Builders. This week's Difference Maker is rKids volunteer Kera Miller. Kera has served as a member of rKids in some capacity over the past 10 years. That's right, she has been serving the families of this church for 10 years! Over the past few years, she has taken on a lead role at the Check-In station and is the go to expert for all Planning Center topics here at the church. Kera seamlessly manages the ins and outs of checking in our regular kids, welcoming and checking in new families, and keeping all classrooms safe during service. She is a decision maker, problem solver and stabilizing force in rKids. On a regular weekend, Kera will support up to 24 volunteers and 75 kids between the two services. They all know her, trust her and look to her. When Pastor Thomas was out for several weeks due to injury, Kera kept everything running smoothly. When Restore puts on large events such as our Easter Carnival or Mega Kid Camp, it is Kera who leads the check-in and safety of each one of those families, some of which have never been to church. Outside of Sunday morning, she is constantly stepping in and willing to paint, clean, build, and decorate. She is the one responsible for the fresh new blue in the rKids hallway and in the Adventure classroom. Kera is also one of the head coaches for the women's softball team here at Restore. A team that takes pride in playing hard and getting better, but also in caring for each other and keeping the big things, the Jesus things. She leads weekly practice, hosts small groups at her house, organizes team dinners, and always has an open door to anyone willing to play, even if they have no softball experience. Kera knows, it's not the game, and it's not the check-in system that is important - it's the people. Thank you, Kera, for your consistency, your generosity, and for showing each one of us what it means to truly be a Difference Maker.

This week’s Kingdom Builders Highlight is Convoy of Hope, a faith-based humanitarian organization bringing hope to people who are hurting around the world. Their mission is simple but powerful: to serve those who are impoverished, hungry, and in crisis with compassion and practical support. Recently, multiple tornadoes tore through central and southern Mississippi, leaving devastation behind — homes destroyed, roads blocked, and thousands without power. In the middle of that heartbreak, Convoy of Hope quickly stepped in to serve families in need. So far, they have distributed more than 123,000 pounds of supplies to over 6,000 people, providing food, water, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, and emergency relief items to communities affected by the storms. And their work is still continuing. Thank you for faithfully giving to Kingdom Builders. Your generosity helps support ministry partners who are bringing hope, help, and the love of Jesus to people in need both locally and around the world.

This week’s Kingdom Builder Highlight is Tom and Maria Donnelly, chaplains to the forgotten, faithfully serving Cecil County. Every week, they carry the love of Jesus into places many overlook, reaching those who can’t get to church and those who’ve never been reached. From local elementary schools, to nursing homes, to the county jail, they are bringing the hope of the Gospel to children, the elderly, the disabled, and the incarcerated. Maria recently shared this story with us: “Destiny, who was serving time in the local jail, looked at me and said, ‘No one loves me. No one in the world, not even my family wants anything to do with me.’ I looked her in the eyes and said, ‘I love you, and Jesus loves you too.’ My assistant added, ‘And I love you too.’” At that moment, something broke. For the first time, Destiny experienced real, unconditional love and it changed everything. That's the day she gave her life to Jesus. In the weeks that followed, she began learning how to read the Bible and is now growing in her relationship with the Lord." This is what your generosity makes possible! It allows people like Destiny and hundreds of others from no longer being forgotten. It allows the hope of Jesus to reach the jail cells, nursing homes and classrooms. It allows lives to be restored outside of the four walls of a church building. This week’s difference maker is Eddie Bursk. Eddie serve’s on the worship team and he is a constant help to the team as a whole. He hands out musical and spiritual encouragements all the time, and he brings powerful devotionals and spiritual insight to help strengthen the team. He almost always comes to rehearsal early every Thursday to warm up and to make sure he nails his parts, whether he’s playing guitar or if he’s singing. If you didn’t know, Eddie has written two songs that we sing here at Restore Church that have been on regular rotation. One of those songs (entitled, “It Is Finished”) is a song that we sang here on Easter Sunday. He along with Jesse Groth worked very hard and spent hours in the studio to bring it all together in a very professional manner that resulted in a high quality and spiritually powerful moment as we celebrated Jesus together. Three years ago Eddie was told by the doctor that he would never be able to sing again due to surgery complications, but three years later he’s singing out and declaring the goodness of God in the land of the living! Thank you Eddie for being an encourager, a helper, and a living example of God’s faithfulness! This week's Difference Maker is a member of the Next Gen team, Sarah Kregel. Sarah serves as a lead teacher in our rKids nursery at the 11 am service every other week. While Sarah has only been in this role for a few months, she has made a dramatic impact and is a calming presence for kids, parents, and volunteers. If you haven't been behind our rKids security doors, you might not know that our 11 am classes are packed, in particular our nursery, which regularly has 8-10 kids requiring 5-6 volunteers. Sarah manages both the kids and the volunteers during her time with grace, patience, and humility. She has a gift for calming down a crying baby, comforting a nervous toddler, and encouraging a teen volunteer. During Easter service, we had 13 kids ages 4 and under. Under Sarah's care, the room was loud and busy, but every kid in that room was safe, loved, and had a great time. Recently, Sarah took it upon herself to come in on a Saturday to make changes to our nursery and help with our new sensory room. She showed up with her own son on her hip, a car full of new toys, and said, "I've got some great ideas!" She made changes to provide safe, developmentally appropriate play opportunities for our largest growing classroom based upon what she was seeing each week when she served. Now, our room can support more kids, and we have a separate new classroom called the Sensory Overflow room, for kids with special needs who just need a place to get away on their own. She cares about kids, uniquely, and is an advocate we all want for our own children. We're so thankful for your generous heart, your consistency, and your calming energy.
