I am BEYOND amazed at what God has done at Restore Church THROUGH US over the last 6 years.

He has exceeded our expectations in every way, going BEYOND anything we have asked or imagined what would happen when we started in 2011. Our most recent manifestation of God blessing us BEYOND our abilities and capacity was through our Surround Building Campaign. It started in 2015 as a spiritual growth campaign to finance the start of our Elkton Campus as well as to secure and renovate Havre de Grace’s Earlton Road Campus. But in the middle of that God went BEYOND opening the door for us to purchase the Port Deposit Campus. There is no doubt we are experiencing a great move of God. I want to thank you for your heart to go above and BEYOND for the cause of Christ at Restore that has led us to this place of strength in our ministry.

As I was praying about finishing 2017 well, God dropped the word BEYOND in my spirit for us to align our focus, our teachings, our prayers, our plans and our annual end of the year offering.  We will be standing on the promises of God, expecting God to outdo Himself, that’s found in the following verses as we close 2017 together:

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly BEYOND all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20 – 21

The same God who used us before is getting ready to use us again. God reminded me that we will all remain the same if we are not challenged to go BEYOND where we are. I believe God wants to challenge each of our faith capacities to go BEYOND in our believing for greater things and the sacrifice of giving that puts the greater things into motion to build His Kingdom through our church’s mission.

As a staff and leadership team, we are believing for God to go BEYOND in the following for church wide initiatives:

  • Expansion :: Our Towson Campus just started and our Elkton Campus is looking for a permanent home. We want to prepare for a move to take place regardless if it is sooner than later.
  • Buildings :: Our Port Deposit Campus is in the renovation stage of its future Worship Center.  Every area will need to be outfitted like Harve de Grace from rKids rooms to AV areas to VIP and everything in between.
  • Ministries :: We believe our children are the future. We do not ever want to stop investing in rKids and rStudents. From sending kids to camp, enhancing the program, to starting a second Youth Group in Cecil County in 2018, we are preparing for the best year of ministry with our children.
  • Missions :: We feel led to start the process of being part of starting new churches oversees in 2018. We have made a connection in El Salvador with a strong missions ministry who have asked us to partner with them to start churches.

Let’s all begin to pray for God to lead us to step out of our comfort zone and give BEYOND our abilities and current capacity.
